Count Amadeus VI of Savoy
Count Amadeus VI of Savoy, also known as "the Green Count," was a prominent nobleman in the 14th century. Born in 1334, he became the Count of Savoy in 1343. His reign was marked by military campaigns and efforts to expand his territory, particularly in the regions of Piedmont and Aosta Valley.
Amadeus VI was known for his diplomatic skills and alliances, which helped strengthen the House of Savoy. He played a significant role in the politics of Northern Italy and was involved in various conflicts, including those against the Duchy of Milan.
