Cleopatra Selene II
Cleopatra Selene II was the daughter of Cleopatra VII and Mark Antony, born in 40 BCE. After her parents' defeat and deaths, she was taken to Rome, where she was raised in the household of Octavian, later known as Emperor Augustus.
In 25 BCE, she married Juba II, the king of Mauretania, and became queen. Cleopatra Selene II played a significant role in the cultural and political life of her kingdom, promoting the arts and maintaining her family's legacy. She ruled until her death, which is believed to have occurred around 5 BCE.
