Chen Style
Chen Style is one of the oldest forms of Tai Chi, originating from the Chen village in China. It is characterized by its low stances, slow movements, and a combination of both soft and hard techniques. Practitioners often perform sequences that include spiraling motions and explosive power, known as "fa jing."
This style emphasizes the importance of relaxation and proper breathing, allowing energy, or qi, to flow freely. Chen Style serves as a foundation for other Tai Chi styles, influencing their development and practice. It is often practiced for health benefits, martial arts training, and meditation.
