Cecilia of Sweden
Cecilia of Sweden was a Swedish princess born on November 23, 1807. She was the daughter of King Charles XIV John of Sweden and Queen Desideria. Cecilia became known for her charitable work and dedication to social causes, particularly in education and healthcare.
In 1829, Cecilia married Duke Charles of Södermanland, who later became King Charles XV of Sweden. The couple had several children, and Cecilia played a significant role in royal duties and public life. She passed away on December 27, 1844, leaving a legacy of compassion and service to her country.
