Cao Wei was a state during the Three Kingdoms period of China, which lasted from 220 to 280 AD. It was founded by Cao Cao, a prominent warlord and politician, who played a significant role in the late Eastern Han dynasty. After his death, his son Cao Pi officially declared the establishment of the Wei state, marking the beginning of its rule.
Cao Wei was known for its military strength and administrative reforms. The state often clashed with its rivals, Shu Han and Eastern Wu, in a series of battles. Despite its eventual decline, Cao Wei left a lasting impact on Chinese history and culture.
