Cao Pi was a Chinese emperor who ruled from 220 to 226 AD during the Three Kingdoms period. He was the son of Cao Cao, a prominent warlord and politician. Cao Pi is known for founding the Cao Wei state after his father's death and declaring himself the first emperor of Wei, taking the title Emperor Wen.
