Burhanuddin Rabbani
Burhanuddin Rabbani was an Afghan politician and a prominent leader of the Jamiat-e Islami party. He served as the President of Afghanistan from 1992 to 1996 during a tumultuous period marked by civil war and the rise of the Taliban. Rabbani was known for his efforts to unite various factions in Afghanistan and promote a democratic government.
