Bohemond II of Antioch
Bohemond II of Antioch was a nobleman born around 1108, the son of Bohemond I of Antioch and Constance of France. He became the Prince of Antioch after his father's death in 1111. His reign was marked by conflicts with the Muslim states in the region and challenges from rival Christian factions.
In 1130, Bohemond II was captured during a battle against the Zengids, a powerful Muslim dynasty. He was held for ransom, but his efforts to secure Antioch continued until his death in 1131. His rule contributed to the ongoing struggles of the Crusader states in the Levant.
