Bidar Sultanate
The Bidar Sultanate was a small but significant state in southern India, established in the late 15th century. It was part of the larger Deccan Sultanates and was known for its rich cultural heritage, including advancements in architecture and art. The capital city, Bidar, became a center for Persian literature and Islamic culture during its rule.
The sultanate was founded by the Bahmani Sultanate's former governors and lasted until the late 17th century when it fell to the Mughal Empire. The rulers of Bidar were known for their patronage of scholars and artists, contributing to the region's historical significance.
