Battle of Chillianwala
The Battle of Chillianwala took place on January 13, 1849, during the Second Anglo-Sikh War. It was fought between the forces of the British East India Company and the Sikh Empire near the village of Chillianwala in present-day Pakistan. The battle was marked by heavy fighting and significant casualties on both sides, with the British forces under General Sir Charles Napier facing fierce resistance from the Sikh troops led by General Sham Singh Attariwala.
