Bahauddin Naqshbandi
Bahauddin Naqshbandi was a prominent Sufi master and the founder of the Naqshbandi order, which emphasizes the importance of inner spiritual development and the remembrance of God. Born in 1318 in Bukhara, present-day Uzbekistan, he played a significant role in the spread of Sufism throughout Central Asia and beyond.
His teachings focused on the practice of silent remembrance, or dhikr, and the importance of following the Sharia while seeking spiritual enlightenment. The Naqshbandi order became one of the most influential Sufi paths, known for its emphasis on community and the integration of spiritual practices into daily life.
