Islamic Saints
Islamic saints, known as Awliya (singular: Wali), are revered individuals in the Islamic tradition who are believed to have a close relationship with Allah. They are often recognized for their piety, spiritual insight, and miraculous abilities. Many Muslims seek their intercession, believing that these saints can help them in their prayers and spiritual journeys.
The concept of saints varies across different Islamic sects, with Sufism placing particular emphasis on the veneration of saints. Shrines dedicated to these figures, such as those of Rumi or Al-Hallaj, are common pilgrimage sites, where followers gather to seek blessings and guidance.
