Australian States
Australia is divided into six states and two territories. The six states are New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, Western Australia, South Australia, and Tasmania. Each state has its own government and laws, contributing to the country's diverse culture and economy.
The two territories are the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) and the Northern Territory. The ACT is home to the capital city, Canberra, while the Northern Territory is known for its vast landscapes and Indigenous culture. Both territories have different governance structures compared to the states, with the federal government having more influence.
