Asian wildcat
The Asian wildcat (Felis lybica ornata) is a small wild cat native to parts of Asia, including regions in India, Pakistan, and Mongolia. It is closely related to the domestic cat and typically has a sandy or grayish coat with faint stripes and spots, which help it blend into its natural habitat.
These cats are primarily solitary and are most active during dawn and dusk. They inhabit grasslands, scrublands, and forests, where they hunt small mammals, birds, and insects. The Asian wildcat plays a crucial role in maintaining the balance of its ecosystem by controlling prey populations.
