Al-Dahna Desert
The Al-Dahna Desert is a vast stretch of sand desert located in the Arabian Peninsula, primarily in Saudi Arabia. It is known for its long, narrow dunes that can reach heights of up to 250 meters. The desert covers an area of approximately 1,000 kilometers in length and is characterized by its unique red and orange sands.
This desert is part of the larger Rub' al Khali, or Empty Quarter, which is one of the largest sand deserts in the world. Al-Dahna is also home to various wildlife and plant species adapted to the harsh desert environment, making it an important ecological area in the region.
