Arabian Desert
The Arabian Desert is a vast desert located on the Arabian Peninsula, covering approximately 1.3 million square kilometers. It is bordered by the Red Sea to the west, the Persian Gulf to the northeast, and the Rub' al Khali, or Empty Quarter, to the south. The desert features a mix of sand dunes, gravel plains, and rocky plateaus, making it one of the largest deserts in the world.
The climate of the Arabian Desert is characterized by extreme temperatures, with scorching heat during the day and cooler nights. Rainfall is scarce, averaging less than 3 centimeters annually, which contributes to its arid conditions. Despite this, the desert is home to various flora and fauna adapted to survive in such an environment.
