Ahmose
Ahmose was an ancient Egyptian pharaoh who ruled during the 18th Dynasty, around 1550-1525 BCE. He is best known for driving out the Hyksos, a group of foreign rulers who had occupied parts of Egypt. His successful military campaigns helped to reunify Egypt and restore native rule, marking the beginning of the New Kingdom period.
Ahmose is also credited with significant building projects, including temples and monuments that celebrated the gods and the pharaoh's achievements. His reign laid the foundation for a prosperous era in ancient Egypt, which saw advancements in art, architecture, and culture, influencing future rulers like Hatshepsut and Tutankhamun.
