Ahmad Shah Massoud
Ahmad Shah Massoud was a prominent Afghan military leader and politician, known for his role in the resistance against the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan during the 1980s. He was born on September 2, 1953, in the Panjshir Valley and became a key figure in the Northern Alliance, which opposed the Taliban regime in the 1990s.
