Abelardo L. Rodríguez
Abelardo L. Rodríguez was a Mexican politician and military leader, born on February 12, 1889, in Hermosillo, Sonora. He served as the President of Mexico from 1932 to 1934, following the presidency of Pascual Ortiz Rubio. Rodríguez was known for his efforts to promote economic development and social reforms during his administration.
Before his presidency, Rodríguez held various governmental positions, including governor of Baja California. He was a key figure in the Mexican Revolution and played a significant role in the establishment of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), which dominated Mexican politics for much of the 20th century. He passed away on July 4, 1967.
