Francisco I. Madero
Francisco I. Madero was a Mexican politician and revolutionary leader born on October 30, 1873. He is best known for his role in the Mexican Revolution, which began in 1910. Madero opposed the long-standing dictatorship of Porfirio Díaz and advocated for democratic reforms, including free elections and land redistribution.
In 1911, Madero successfully overthrew Díaz and became the President of Mexico. His presidency faced challenges, including opposition from various revolutionary factions. Madero's tenure ended when he was assassinated in 1913 during a coup led by Victoriano Huerta, which further intensified the conflict in Mexico.
