भारत छोड़ो आंदोलन
"भारत छोड़ो आंदोलन" (Quit India Movement) was a significant movement in 1942 during the Indian independence struggle against British rule. Launched by Mahatma Gandhi on August 8, 1942, it aimed to demand an end to British rule in India. The slogan "Do or Die" inspired many Indians to participate in protests and demonstrations across the country.
The movement saw widespread participation from various sections of society, including students, workers, and leaders from different regions. Despite facing severe repression from the British government, the movement marked a crucial turning point in India's fight for freedom, ultimately leading to independence in 1947.
