Шах-Аббас
Шах-Аббас, also known as Shah Abbas I, was the fifth ruler of the Safavid dynasty in Persia, reigning from 1588 to 1629. He is renowned for his military successes, which expanded the Persian Empire and strengthened its borders. His reign is marked by significant cultural and economic development, including the flourishing of arts and architecture.
Under Шах-Аббас, the capital was moved to Isfahan, which became a center of trade and culture. He promoted religious tolerance and encouraged the integration of various ethnic groups within his empire. His legacy includes the stunning Naqsh-e Jahan Square and the beautiful Sheikh Lotfallah Mosque.
