Sheikh Lotfallah Mosque
The Sheikh Lotfallah Mosque is a stunning example of Persian architecture located in Isfahan, Iran. Built between 1602 and 1619 during the Safavid dynasty, it was designed by the architect Sheikh Bahai. The mosque is renowned for its intricate tile work and beautiful dome, which features a unique color palette that changes with the light throughout the day.
This mosque was originally constructed for the royal family and is situated on the eastern side of Naqsh-e Jahan Square.
