wide-grip push-up
The wide-grip push-up is a variation of the standard push-up that targets the chest, shoulders, and triceps. In this exercise, the hands are placed wider than shoulder-width apart, which increases the emphasis on the pectoral muscles. This position also helps to engage the stabilizing muscles in the shoulders.
To perform a wide-grip push-up, start in a plank position with your hands positioned wider than your shoulders. Lower your body until your chest nearly touches the ground, keeping your elbows at a 45-degree angle. Push back up to the starting position to complete one repetition.
