pazos
A "pazo" is a traditional Galician manor house, typically found in the region of Galicia in northwest Spain. These structures often feature a blend of architectural styles, including Romanesque, Gothic, and Renaissance elements. Pazos were historically owned by the nobility and served as both residences and agricultural estates.
Many pazos are surrounded by extensive gardens and farmland, reflecting the agrarian lifestyle of their former inhabitants. Today, some pazos have been restored and serve as hotels, event venues, or cultural heritage sites, allowing visitors to experience the history and beauty of Galician architecture.
