chinkara
The chinkara, also known as the Indian gazelle, is a small, graceful antelope found primarily in the arid regions of India and Pakistan. It has a slender body, long legs, and a distinctive reddish-brown coat with white underparts. Chinkaras are well-adapted to their dry habitats, often grazing on grasses and shrubs.
Chinkaras are known for their speed and agility, capable of running at high speeds to escape predators. They are social animals, often seen in small groups, and are most active during the early morning and late afternoon. Conservation efforts are in place to protect their populations from habitat loss and hunting.
