Zomi
The Zomi are an ethnic group primarily found in the Chin State of Myanmar, as well as in parts of India and Bangladesh. They are known for their rich cultural heritage, which includes traditional music, dance, and festivals. The Zomi people speak the Zomi language, which belongs to the Kuki-Chin-Mizo language family.
Historically, the Zomi have faced challenges related to political and social issues, including struggles for autonomy and recognition. Many Zomi people are engaged in agriculture, while others have migrated to urban areas for better opportunities. Their community values strong family ties and communal support.
