Zomi language
The Zomi language is a member of the Kuki-Chin-Mizo group of languages, primarily spoken by the Zomi people in regions of India, Myanmar, and Bangladesh. It is part of the larger Sino-Tibetan language family and has several dialects, reflecting the diverse communities that speak it.
Zomi is used in daily communication, cultural expressions, and local governance. The language has its own script, which is often based on the Latin alphabet, making it accessible for education and literature. Efforts are ongoing to promote and preserve the language among younger generations.
