Zhuang Language
The Zhuang language is a member of the Tai language family, primarily spoken by the Zhuang people in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of China. It has several dialects, with the Northern Zhuang and Southern Zhuang being the most prominent. The language uses both a Latin-based script and Chinese characters for writing.
Zhuang is recognized as an official language in Guangxi and is used in education and media. It has a rich oral tradition and is influenced by neighboring languages, including Mandarin Chinese. Efforts are ongoing to preserve and promote the language among younger generations.
