Zaza language
The Zaza language, also known as Zazaki, is an Indo-European language primarily spoken in eastern Turkey. It belongs to the Northwest Iranian branch of the Iranian languages and is used by the Zaza people, who are an ethnic group in the region.
Zaza has several dialects, including Northern Zaza and Southern Zaza, which can differ significantly in pronunciation and vocabulary. The language is not widely recognized in official contexts, and many speakers are bilingual in Turkish, which can affect the preservation of Zaza.
