Y.V. Chandrachud
Y.V. Chandrachud was an influential Indian jurist who served as the Chief Justice of India from 1974 to 1985. Chandrachud was born on 12th July 1920 in Nagpur, Maharashtra. He completed his education at Delhi University and later earned a degree in law from Harvard Law School. After a distinguished career in the judiciary, he retired in 1985, leaving a lasting legacy in Indian jurisprudence.
