Western Wei
The Western Wei was a short-lived dynasty in ancient China that existed from 535 to 557 AD. It emerged during the period of the Northern and Southern Dynasties, following the fall of the Northern Wei. The dynasty was established by the Xianbei people and was known for its military strength and efforts to consolidate power in northern China.
The Western Wei was eventually succeeded by the Northern Zhou, which continued many of its policies and military campaigns. Despite its brief existence, the Western Wei played a significant role in the political landscape of the time, influencing the subsequent dynasties in the region.
