Waorani People
The Waorani People are an indigenous group living in the Amazon rainforest of Ecuador. They are known for their deep connection to the forest, relying on it for food, shelter, and medicine. Traditionally, they practice hunting, fishing, and gathering, using tools made from natural materials.
The Waorani have a unique language and rich cultural traditions, including storytelling and rituals. Their society is organized into small, family-based groups, and they have a strong sense of community. In recent years, they have faced challenges from outside influences, including oil exploration and deforestation, which threaten their way of life.
