Vlaho Bukovac
Vlaho Bukovac was a prominent Croatian painter born on July 4, 1855, in the town of Cavtat. He is best known for his contributions to the Realism and Impressionism art movements. Bukovac studied in various European cities, including Paris, where he developed his unique style that combined traditional techniques with modern influences.
Throughout his career, Bukovac created numerous portraits, landscapes, and historical scenes. He played a significant role in the Croatian art scene and was a founding member of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts.
