Vitellius
Vitellius was a Roman Emperor who ruled for a brief period in 69 AD, during a year known as the Year of the Four Emperors. He was born in 15 AD and came from a wealthy family. His reign was marked by excess and indulgence, which ultimately led to his downfall.
His rule ended when he was defeated by Vespasian, another contender for the throne. Vitellius was captured and killed in December 69 AD, marking the end of his short and tumultuous reign. His legacy is often overshadowed by the more stable rule of Vespasian, who established the Flavian dynasty.
