Galba
Galba was a Roman Emperor who ruled for a brief period in 68-69 AD during the Year of the Four Emperors. He was born on December 24, 3 BC, in the province of Hispania Tarraconensis. Galba came to power after the overthrow of Nero, the last emperor of the Julio-Claudian dynasty.
His reign was marked by political instability and dissatisfaction among the military and the populace. Galba's strict financial policies and failure to pay the troops led to his downfall. He was eventually assassinated in January 69 AD, paving the way for Otho to seize the throne.
