Vedic philosophy
Vedic philosophy is a system of thought that originates from the ancient Vedas, the sacred texts of Hinduism. It emphasizes the pursuit of knowledge, truth, and understanding of the self and the universe. Central concepts include dharma (duty/righteousness), karma (action and its consequences), and moksha (liberation from the cycle of birth and death).
The philosophy is characterized by various schools of thought, including Vedanta and Samkhya, each offering different interpretations of reality and existence. Vedic philosophy also explores the nature of consciousness and the relationship between the individual soul (atman) and the ultimate reality (Brahman).
