Vaisesika School
The Vaisesika School is one of the six classical schools of Indian philosophy, known as Darshanas. Founded by the sage Kanada around the 2nd century BCE, it focuses on the nature of reality and the classification of substances. Vaisesika emphasizes the importance of understanding the physical world through categories such as earth, water, fire, air, and space.
This school of thought is closely related to Nyaya, another philosophical system that deals with logic and epistemology. Together, they explore concepts like causation, perception, and inference, aiming to provide a comprehensive understanding of existence and knowledge in the universe.
