V-Brakes
V-Brakes are a type of bicycle brake commonly found on mountain and hybrid bikes. They consist of two arms that pivot at the center and are activated by pulling a cable. When the brake lever is squeezed, the arms move inward, pressing rubber brake pads against the wheel rims to slow down or stop the bike.
These brakes are known for their simplicity and effectiveness. They provide strong stopping power and are easy to adjust and maintain. V-Brakes are lightweight and can be used with various rim widths, making them a popular choice for many cyclists.
