Uygur language
The Uygur language is a member of the Turkic language family, primarily spoken by the Uygur people in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China. It uses a modified version of the Arabic script, although Latin and Cyrillic scripts have also been used historically.
Uygur is an agglutinative language, meaning it forms words and expresses grammatical relationships through the addition of prefixes and suffixes. It has a rich literary tradition and is influenced by various languages, including Chinese, Persian, and Arabic, reflecting the diverse cultural heritage of the Uygur people.
