Uyghur Language
The Uyghur language is a Turkic language primarily spoken by the Uyghur people, who mainly reside in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of China. It is written in a modified version of the Arabic script, although Latin and Cyrillic scripts have also been used historically.
Uyghur is part of the Karluk branch of the Turkic language family and shares similarities with Uzbek and Kazakh.
