Uue
Uue, also known as ununoctium, is a synthetic element with the atomic number 118. It is part of the noble gases group in the periodic table and is highly unstable, with a very short half-life. Uue was first synthesized in 2002 by a team of Russian and American scientists at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research in Dubna, Russia.
Due to its instability, Uue does not occur naturally and can only be created in a laboratory setting. Its properties are not well-studied, but it is expected to share some characteristics with other noble gases like xenon and radon. Research on Uue helps scientists understand the behavior of superheavy elements.
