Ununhexium
Ununhexium, now known as Livermorium, is a synthetic element with the atomic number 116. It was first created in 2000 by a team of scientists at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in California. This element is part of the periodic table and belongs to the group of elements known as the post-transition metals.
Due to its instability, ununhexium has no significant commercial applications and exists only in minute quantities. It has a very short half-life, leading to rapid decay into lighter elements. Research on ununhexium helps scientists understand the properties of heavy elements and the forces that govern atomic structure.
