United Torah Judaism
United Torah Judaism is a political alliance in Israel that represents the interests of the Haredi Jewish community. Formed in 1992, it primarily consists of two parties: Agudat Yisrael and Degel HaTorah. The alliance focuses on issues important to ultra-Orthodox Jews, such as education, religious observance, and social welfare.
The party plays a significant role in Israeli politics, often participating in coalition governments. Its leaders advocate for policies that support the Haredi lifestyle, including funding for religious schools and exemptions from military service for yeshiva students.
