Ulrika Eleonora of Sweden
Ulrika Eleonora of Sweden was born on January 23, 1688, and became Queen of Sweden from 1718 until her abdication in 1720. She was the daughter of King Charles XI of Sweden and Queen Ulrika Eleonora the Elder. Her reign was marked by political challenges and the ongoing effects of the Great Northern War.
After her abdication, Ulrika Eleonora married Duke Frederick of Holstein-Gottorp and moved to Germany. She remained influential in Swedish politics and was known for her efforts to promote peace and stability in the region. She passed away on February 24, 1741.
