Ulrika Eleonora
Ulrika Eleonora was a Swedish queen who reigned from 1718 to 1720. Born on January 23, 1688, she was the daughter of King Charles XI and Queen Ulrika Eleonora the Elder. After the death of her husband, King Frederick I, she became the regent of Sweden, playing a significant role in the country's politics during her time.
Her reign was marked by efforts to stabilize Sweden after the Great Northern War. Ulrika Eleonora was known for her dedication to the welfare of her people and her support for various cultural and educational initiatives. She abdicated in favor of her husband in 1720 and lived the rest of her life in relative obscurity.
