UTIs
A urinary tract infection, or UTI, is an infection that occurs in any part of the urinary system, which includes the bladder, urethra, ureters, and kidneys. UTIs are most commonly caused by bacteria entering the urinary tract, leading to symptoms such as a frequent urge to urinate, burning sensation during urination, and cloudy urine.
While anyone can get a UTI, they are more common in women due to anatomical differences. Treatment typically involves antibiotics to eliminate the infection. Drinking plenty of water and practicing good hygiene can help prevent UTIs from occurring.
