USS New Hampshire (SSN-778)
The USS New Hampshire (SSN-778) is a nuclear-powered attack submarine of the Virginia class, designed for a variety of missions, including anti-submarine warfare, anti-surface ship warfare, and intelligence gathering. Commissioned in 2008, it is named after the state of New Hampshire and is the fourth ship to bear the name.
The submarine features advanced stealth technology, enabling it to operate undetected in hostile waters. With a length of 377 feet and a displacement of over 7,800 tons, the USS New Hampshire can carry a crew of approximately 134 personnel. It is equipped with torpedoes and Tomahawk cruise missiles for versatile combat capabilities.
