Two-Toed Sloths
The two-toed sloth is a slow-moving mammal found in the tropical forests of Central and South America. It is known for its unique two-toed limbs, which help it hang from tree branches. These sloths primarily feed on leaves, fruits, and flowers, relying on their slow metabolism to conserve energy.
Two-toed sloths are excellent climbers, spending most of their lives in trees. They have a specialized diet that allows them to thrive in their leafy habitat. Their fur often hosts algae, which provides camouflage and helps them blend into their surroundings, making it harder for predators to spot them.
