Two-Toed Sloth
The Two-Toed Sloth is a slow-moving mammal native to the tropical forests of Central and South America. It is known for its distinctive long limbs and two toes on its front limbs, which help it hang from tree branches. These sloths primarily feed on leaves, fruits, and flowers, relying on their slow metabolism to conserve energy.
Two-Toed Sloths are excellent climbers, spending most of their lives in trees. They have a unique adaptation that allows them to blend in with their surroundings, making them less visible to predators. Their fur also hosts algae, which provides additional camouflage in the lush forest environment.
